By attending Prairie Skies Country Dance, you acknowledge and agree to the following.

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to participate.

Please dance within your own ability and comfort level.

If you experience pain, dizziness, illness, or discomfort, stop participating immediately.

Wear appropriate footwear and clothing suitable for dancing.

Prairie Skies Country Dance is committed to creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels safe and included.

All participants are expected to:

• Treat everyone with kindness and respect.

• Ask before leading someone into lifts, dips, aerials, or close-contact movements.

• Accept "no thank you" gracefully when asking someone to dance.

• Maintain appropriate hygiene.

• Respect personal space and boundaries.

• Help create a positive experience for dancers of all skill levels.

Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.

Prairie Skies Country Dance reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour creates an unsafe or unwelcoming environment. No refund will be provided.

Participants are responsible for their own belongings.

Prairie Skies Country Dance, its instructors, volunteers, venue partners, and sponsors are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Photography and video recording will occur throughout the event.

By attending, you consent to the use of photographs and video that may include your image for promotional purposes, including:

• Website

• Social media

• Future event advertising

• Printed promotional materials

If you would prefer not to appear in promotional content, please notify event staff during registration. While we cannot guarantee you will never appear in background footage, we will make reasonable efforts to respect your request.

​To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release Prairie Skies Country Dance, its organizers, instructors, volunteers, sponsors, venue partners, and contractors from liability for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation, except where liability results from negligence or cannot legally be excluded.

Participants under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian complete registration and accept this waiver on their behalf.

By purchasing a ticket or attending Prairie Skies Country Dance, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this Participant Waiver, Media Release & Code of Conduct.
